From Nimali Tarangire you can take a private day trip to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its forest, soda lake and birdlife, or to the Ngorongoro Crater, a huge volcanic caldera with dense wildlife. Both are arranged by the camp at extra cost, with park fees on top.
