Explore Africa reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the Explore Africa website. By enquiring with Explore Africa, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1. About Explore Africa
Explore Africa is a travel-planning service that helps travellers research accommodations and design African safari itineraries. We provide expert guidance and indicative itineraries; we are not a booking or payment platform.
2. Enquiries, not bookings
Itineraries you build on this site are planning tools. Submitting a trip sends an enquiry to our team. It is not a confirmed reservation and does not create any contract for travel services. All travel is subject to availability and separate confirmation with the provider.
3. Indicative pricing
Prices shown are indicative ‘from’ estimates, with the recorded currency shown beside each amount. The safari cost estimator only uses comparable Australian-dollar rates. A price includes only the items it expressly identifies; transfers, flights and activities are excluded unless stated. Prices are not quotes and may change. Rates displayed on the website and all other media are provided for informational purposes and are subject to change based on seasonality and availability. We recommend contacting the service providers directly for the most accurate and up-to-date pricing tailored to your planned journey. Please be aware that rates are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Information & accuracy
We work hard to keep accommodation information, seasonality and flight guidance accurate, but details change. Flight times and schedules are indicative, so always confirm current schedules and fares. We do not warrant that all content is error-free.
5. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information.
6. Intellectual property
Explore Africa's original editorial, itineraries and design are owned by Explore Africa. Other material remains the property of its respective owner or licensor and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Photography, credits & rights requests
We aim to use photographs that are owned, licensed, supplied by accommodation operators or otherwise authorised, and we show the recorded credit where it is known. A credit identifies the recorded source or rights holder; it does not replace permission. If you own rights in an image on this site, believe a credit is incorrect, or would like an image removed or replaced, contact hello@exploreafrica.com.au with the page link and image details. We will review the request promptly and remove or replace the image while any rights concern is resolved.
8. Liability
a. Explore Africa is a liaison between clients and third-party service providers, including hotels, airlines, and tour operators. While we diligently strive to ensure the quality and reliability of our partners, Explore Africa cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the actions or negligence of these third-party providers. b. Exclusion & Limitation of Liability: Explore Africa, its subsidiaries, associates, affiliates, shareholders, consultants, or employees shall not be held responsible for any losses, damages, injury, illness, death, loss of or damage to property, delay, inconvenience, or poor performance incurred by the Client and the Traveller. This encompasses instances of innocence, negligence, or intentionality, whether from Explore Africa or its affiliates, relating to travel, accommodation, or any other cause.
9. Governing law
a. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. b. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant jurisdiction. Explore Africa reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the Explore Africa website.
