About Ruzizi Tented Lodge
Ruzizi Tented Lodge sits among palms and fig trees on the shore of Lake Ihema in Akagera National Park. Nine tents connect by wooden walkways to a thatched dining area and a shared deck above the water. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and shaded veranda, while the tree-top honeymoon tent adds a bath and outdoor shower. Full board covers breakfast, lunch and dinner; game drives, night drives and boat trips are booked separately. Solar power runs around the clock, and Wi-Fi reaches the tents. The park operates the lodge, with profits supporting conservation.
