Overview

About Sambora Kinigi

Sambora Kinigi has nine thatched suites in gardens at the foot of Mount Sabyinyo, close to Volcanoes National Park. Fireplaces, private verandahs and a shared dining room give the lodge a relaxed setting between treks. Sanctuary Suites add heated plunge pools and private dining areas. Meals, selected drinks, laundry, a welcome massage and one local or on-site activity each day are included. Children of all ages are welcome, with a camp bed available in each suite; gorilla trekking is for guests aged 15 and over. The whole lodge is available for exclusive use.

“A good fit for families and small groups who want fireside comfort between gorilla treks, with a daily local activity and the option to take all nine suites.”
