Overview
Sungani Lodge sits beside a lagoon in the southern reaches of South Luangwa National Park. Raised walkways connect the tents with shared spaces overlooking the water, while private decks and plunge pools give guests somewhere to retreat between activities. Game drives, guided walks and photographic hides are part of the stay, with an editing studio for photographers back at the lodge. Air-conditioned tents combine indoor bathrooms with outdoor showers. Most guests arrive through Mfuwe and fly to Luamfwa airstrip, followed by a short drive to the lodge. Children aged 12 and over are welcome on ordinary bookings.
“A strong choice for photographers who want hides and an editing studio alongside the privacy of a tent with its own plunge pool, in the southern reaches of South Luangwa.”
