Overview

About Cherero Camp

Cherero Camp has six tented suites on Musabi Plains, west of Central Serengeti. Each has a separate lounge, an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda facing the grasslands. Solar systems supply electricity and hot water, while ceiling fans and mesh windows keep the canvas rooms airy. Families can use extra beds in the lounge, and children aged five and over are welcome. Full board covers three meals per night and standard drinks on the premises. The camp opens year-round, with wildebeest and zebra migration visits in May and June and again from September to December.

“Six suites, separate lounges and verandas give couples and families space to slow down between wildlife outings. We like the small scale and two migration-viewing periods at this quieter end of the Serengeti.”
