Overview

About Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge sits on Nteko Ridge beside Bwindi, with views towards the Virunga Volcanoes. Its eight stone cottages have sitting rooms, wood-burning fireplaces and private verandahs, with two-bedroom cottages for families. The Nkuringo gorilla-tracking trailhead is a short walk away, while the main lodge brings guests together around its bar, dining area and fireplaces. Full board meals, house drinks, laundry and Batwa and Nkuringo community activities are included. The lodge's community ownership gives a stay here a direct connection to local education, healthcare and conservation.

“A strong choice for gorilla trackers who want a private cottage and a fireside retreat afterwards, with the Nkuringo trailhead close by and community activities included.”
