Overview

About Ila Safari Lodge

Ila Safari Lodge sits beside the Kafue River in Zambia’s Kafue National Park, with ten raised safari tents looking out over the water. Eight tents suit couples or friends, while two family tents have sleeping areas divided by a curtain. Days combine electric game drives, quiet river cruises and guided walks, with an infinity pool and an open-sided boma for time between outings. Solar power underpins the lodge’s approach, and its community farm links the stay to nearby Nalusanga. Children of all ages are welcome, with separate age rules for safari activities.

“A good fit for couples and families who want river time as well as game drives, with private tent decks and electric safari vehicles adding to the sense of quiet.”
