Overview
Ntemwa-Busanga Camp sits on the southern Busanga Plains in Kafue National Park, where open grasslands meet channels and woodland. Five guest chalets keep the camp small, with thatched roofs, open-air en-suite bathrooms and warm bucket showers. The raised communal deck looks across the plains, while a shaded bird hide doubles as the WiFi area. Game drives are the focus, with lions, leopard and cheetah among the draws, alongside roan, sable and red lechwe. The camp opens from June to mid-November, following the floodplain’s seasonal retreat.
“A small camp for travellers who put wildlife ahead of resort comforts: open plains for photography, a bird hide between drives and thatched chalets with bucket showers.”
Known for
Southern Busanga game drives combine lion, leopard and cheetah sightings with roan, sable and large herds of red lechwe.
