Overview

About Kwessi Dunes

Kwessi Dunes sits among the red dunes and open plains of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Its 12 canvas-and-thatch chalets have air-conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, shaded verandas and separate open-air star-gazer rooms for nights beneath the sky. Two family chalets accommodate travellers with children, and all ages are welcome. Days centre on desert scenery, antelope, guided nature drives and walks rather than a search for big game. Between outings, the swimming pool and shared lounge offer space to unwind. Balloon flights, horse riding and spa treatments add optional ways to spend time here.

“A good fit for families and landscape lovers who want desert walks, dune adventures and nights under the stars, with air-conditioned bedrooms and a pool to retreat to.”
