Horse riding lets guests explore selected African lodge landscapes at a slower pace with an experienced guide and a horse matched to the rider where the operator offers this. Experiences range from relaxed rides on reserve trails to mobile horseback safaris with overnight camping. At Grootbos in South Africa, riding takes place on reserve trails and is offered to novice and experienced riders. Ol Malo in Kenya includes horseback riding among its lodge experiences and also offers a mobile Nomad Horse experience using a camp supported by camels.
