Overview

About Lagoon Camp

Lagoon Camp is a long-established luxury tented camp situated along the shady banks of the Kwando River in the remote Kwando-Linyanti region, within Kwando Private Reserve. Founded in the late 1990s, it is renowned as one of Botswana's premier predator destinations, with seasonal floodplains and oxbow lagoons that attract legendary concentrations of elephants, buffalo, and the predators that follow them. Guests can explore the waterways by double-decker boat, enjoy off-road game drives, and relax in spacious tented suites featuring private decks, ball-and-claw bathtubs, and outdoor showers overlooking the river. The camp combines hardcore wildlife with relaxed riverfront charm and a family-welcoming atmosphere.

“Premier predator destination along Kwando River with double-decker boats and family welcome; suits wildlife enthusiasts and families seeking legendary elephant concentrations.”
