Overview
Lion Sands River Lodge sits beside the Sabie River in Sabi Sand, with 18 rooms and suites facing the water. Private terraces offer a quieter place to watch the river, while the shared dining decks and firepit bring guests together between safaris. Two daily game drives and bush walks are included alongside meals, selected drinks and Skukuza Airport transfers. River Suites add private plunge pools, and the two-bedroom Family River Suite accommodates two adults and two children aged 10 to 15. A pool, spa, gym and Creative Lab provide options between wildlife outings.
“River-facing rooms, sociable decks and included game drives make this a strong choice for travellers who want time with wildlife without giving up a comfortable base.”
Known for
Big Five game viewing and frequent leopard sightings centre on the Sabie River and its surrounding woodland.
