Overview

About Makweti Safari Lodge

Makweti Safari Lodge is a small, intimate Big Five safari lodge set within a malaria-free, 40,000-hectare private game reserve in Welgevonden, Limpopo. It accommodates no more than 10 guests across five luxury suites, many with private plunge pools, and features panoramic views over a gorge-defined valley and a waterhole just 80 yards from the open lounge. The lodge blends a timeless African aesthetic with modern environmental sensibility, and is a member of the prestigious by-invitation-only Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, reflecting its commitment to fine cuisine.

“Ultra-intimate five-suite Big Five lodge with waterhole views and fine cuisine; suits discerning couples prioritising exclusivity and Chaîne des Rôtisseurs dining.”
