Overview
Mawe Tented Camp has ten canvas tents facing the plains near the Ngarenanyuki River in the central-eastern Serengeti. Resident lions, leopards and cheetahs give this area a wildlife focus beyond the passing migration. Double, twin, triple and family options keep the camp useful for couples, friends and families. Each tent has an en-suite hot shower, mosquito nets and solar-powered lighting. Full board covers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a restaurant, bar and shared lounge at the centre of camp. Evenings gather around the campfire, and staff escort guests to their tents after dark.
“A small, year-round camp for families and wildlife photographers who want resident big cats, full-board meals and time beside the plains, rather than a stay built solely around the migration.”
