Overview
About Satao Camp
Satao Camp is a tented safari camp set within Kenya's Tsavo East National Park, overlooking a private watering hole that draws remarkable concentrations of wildlife, including up to 1,000 elephants a day. The camp comprises 20 en-suite safari tents — 15 standard tents and 5 larger suites — nestled among tamarind trees, each with a private verandah and uninterrupted views of the waterhole. Guests enjoy first-class cuisine served in atmospheric settings, from al-fresco lunches beneath an ancient tamarind tree to dinners in the restaurant followed by campfire nightcaps. Morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, sundowner experiences, and camp-ground birding are among the signature activities on offer.
