Overview

About Serengeti North Wilderness Camp

Serengeti North Wilderness Camp sits in the Kogatende area of the northern Serengeti, within reach of the Mara River crossing points. Canvas tents have en-suite bathrooms, gravity-fed showers and private verandas, with a family configuration available on request. Meals and selected drinks are included, while a lounge tent, bar and small reference library provide places to unwind between outings. The camp runs on solar power and welcomes children aged six and over. Its June-to-October season centres on the migration, with resident wildlife and birdlife adding interest beyond the river crossings.

“A good fit for travellers who want canvas-tent living near the Mara River crossings, with private verandas, a shared campfire and a quieter Kogatende setting.”
