Overview

About Singita Kwitonda Lodge

On the edge of Volcanoes National Park, Singita Kwitonda Lodge pairs mountain-gorilla trekking with time to unwind among gardens and volcanic-stone buildings. Its nine one-bedroom and two two-bedroom suites have heated plunge pools, verandas and fireplaces. A conservation lounge, wine cellar and on-site nursery offer places to spend time between excursions. All meals, drinks and laundry are included, while park permits, levies and transport cost extra. Children of all ages are welcome, with childminding available while adults trek. Gorilla trekking is for guests aged 15 and over; golden monkey trekking starts at 12.

“A comfortable base for gorilla trekkers who want a heated plunge pool and fireplace to return to, with two-bedroom suites and childminding for families.”
