Overview

About Time + Tide Luwi

Time + Tide Luwi is a four-tent camp beside the seasonal Luwi River in South Luangwa National Park. Mahogany trees shade the tents, which have open-air bathrooms, outdoor showers and private seating areas. Days centre on walking safaris and game drives, with a wildlife hide overlooking a lagoon occupied by hippos. The shared lounge, bar and campfire keep camp life sociable, while the surrounding floodplain provides the backdrop. Meals, standard drinks, laundry and two daily activities are included. Children of all ages are welcome; walking safaris and sleepouts are for guests aged 12 and over, with guide approval.

“Four tents and a walking-focused safari programme make Luwi a good fit for travellers who want a small bush camp and time exploring on foot, with a lagoon hide for quieter wildlife watching.”
