Overview

About Verney's Camp

Verney's Camp sits beside a waterhole on a private concession in the south-eastern reaches of Hwange National Park. Eight double tents and two family tents stand among teak trees, with patio decks facing the pan. Days centre on game drives, walking safaris for guests aged 16 and over, and time watching wildlife from camp. Between outings, there is a shared pool, a tented lounge and a bar. All ages are welcome, with a private vehicle required for families travelling with children under six. Meals, selected drinks, laundry and lodge activities are included.

“A waterhole-facing camp for travellers who enjoy wildlife watching between drives, with two family tents and a private concession that keeps regular park traffic away.”
