Overview

About Apoka Safari Lodge

Apoka Safari Lodge sits around a rocky outcrop above the Narus Valley in Uganda's Kidepo Valley National Park. Its ten canvas-walled, thatched chalets have private verandas, indoor sitting areas and outdoor rock tubs. The main lodge overlooks the plains, while a swimming pool cut into the rock provides another place to pause between outings. Two shared game drives or walks each day are included, alongside meals, house drinks and laundry. Lions, cheetahs, elephants and giraffes are among the park's wildlife. This is a small lodge for travellers who want broad savanna views and time exploring on foot as well as by vehicle.

“Ten chalets, outdoor rock tubs and a rock-carved pool make a distinctive base for exploring Kidepo. We like it for repeat safari travellers and birders who want both game drives and guided walks.”
