Overview
About Bwindi Lodge
Bwindi Lodge looks across a stream to the forest canopy at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Its ten bandas include eight standard rooms and two deluxe rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a private terrace and forest views. A private footpath leads into the forest for the start of a gorilla trek. Back at the lodge, guests have personal butler service, a shared lounge, a library and the Humula Forest Spa. Full board comes with soft drinks, standard and premium alcoholic drinks, laundry and massages by appointment. Nearby Bwindi Bar combines Ugandan food with hospitality training for local young people.
“A comfortable forest base for gorilla trekkers who want a private terrace, a post-trek massage and time to enjoy Bwindi beyond the trek itself.”
