Overview
Chundukwa River Lodge sits on a horse ranch beside the Zambezi, outside Livingstone. Five raised, open-fronted chalets look towards the river, with private balconies and mosquito nets. The separate three-bedroom Chundu Cottage sleeps six and has its own pool, kitchen and riverside seating. Children of all ages stay in the cottage; the chalets welcome guests aged ten and over. Choose a fully inclusive stay with meals and selected lodge experiences, or self-cater in the cottage. Horse rides, river cruises and guided walks offer different ways to explore, while the shared riverside terrace leaves room for quieter afternoons.
“A good fit for families wanting their own riverside cottage, or couples who prefer an open-fronted chalet and days split between horse rides, river cruises and time on the terrace.”
Known for
Riverfront chalets, hippo calls and birdlife combine with horse riding on the lodge ranch.
