Overview
Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp sits among rocky outcrops beside the Grumeti River in Serengeti National Park. Its 20 elevated canvas tents have wooden floors, en-suite shower rooms and private verandah decks. Resident hippos provide a lively soundtrack, while the migration brings another dimension to the surrounding landscape. Between outings, there is a swimming pool, a shared lounge and dining areas overlooking the bush. Full Board includes meals, selected drinks and laundry; game drives and transfers are extra on this plan. Children are welcome, making the camp an option for families as well as couples.
“Private verandah decks and resident river hippos give time in camp its own appeal. We like it for travellers who want a tented Serengeti base with room to relax between wildlife outings.”
