Overview

About Hippo Hollow Country Estate

Hippo Hollow Country Estate sits beside the Sabie River in Hazyview, a base for trips into Kruger National Park and around the Lowveld. Its 91 rooms and chalets range from Standard Rooms overlooking the gardens to River Chalets with loft beds for children. Two swimming pools, a shared lounge and a restaurant with river-facing outdoor seating provide places to unwind between outings. Breakfast is included, children of all ages are welcome, and some Standard Rooms interconnect. A conference centre also caters for business gatherings and groups.

“A practical Hazyview base for families combining Kruger outings with time by the pool, with breakfast included and River Chalets that give children their own loft beds.”
