Overview

About Jack's Camp

Jack's Camp pairs spacious canvas tents with the open landscapes of Botswana's Makgadikgadi Pans. Seven twin tents and two doubles have private decks, plunge pools and indoor and outdoor showers. Inside, patterned textiles, timber furniture and natural-history cabinets give the camp its distinctive character. Shared spaces include a library, a long communal dining table and a pool pavilion. Days bring meerkat encounters, game drives and walks with Zu/'hoasi guides. Quad biking explores the dry pans, while the green season brings zebra and wildebeest migration. Children of all ages are welcome.

“Private plunge pools and richly furnished tents make a comfortable base for exploring the pans. A strong choice for travellers who want desert wildlife, meerkats and a safari beyond the usual game-drive circuit.”
