Overview
Kutali Camp has six guest tents beneath Winterthorn trees on the banks of the Zambezi in Lower Zambezi National Park. The tents face the river and combine comfortable beds with running water, flushing toilets and bucket showers. A shared canvas-covered dining area keeps camp life close to the surrounding woodland. Game drives, night drives, walks and boat safaris offer different ways to explore, with elephant, buffalo and large predators among the wildlife here. Full board+ includes meals, drinks excluding premium wines, laundry and shared safari activities; canoeing is a separately charged activity in 2027.
“We love the small riverside camp and the choice of exploring by vehicle, on foot or by boat. It suits safari travellers who value close contact with the bush over extensive resort facilities.”
Known for
A riverside tented camp with elephant and buffalo on the valley floor, and lion, leopard and wild dog in the surrounding park.
Your stay

Special offer: In 2027, stay six nights in the Lower Zambezi or Kafue camps and pay for five. The free night uses the lowest applicable rate, with park fees payable on the sixth night.
For 2027, compulsory park, bed, conservation and medivac levies add USD 120 per adult per night to the accommodation rate. Flights, gratuities and compulsory comprehensive travel insurance are separate; medivac pre-authorisation does not replace medical insurance.
For 2027, pre-booked canoeing costs USD 100 per person, including a sundowner and night drive, and is included for guests who pre-book private activities. Premium wines and private guiding cost extra; fishing after the first day carries a USD 35 per-person daily charge.
