Overview
Kwara Camp is one of the oldest and most celebrated camps in the Okavango Delta, situated on a forested island within the game-rich Kwara Private Concession. The camp offers a diverse range of activities year-round, combining game drives and night drives with mokoro excursions and motorboat cruises along the Delta's papyrus-lined channels. The most recent incarnation of the camp elevates the experience with larger tents, premium food and drinks, and enhanced facilities, while retaining its reputation for authentic, immersive safari encounters. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of four guests per activity, and only adults aged 18 and over are permitted, giving the camp a chic and serene atmosphere.
“A strong choice for adults who want both land and water safaris: nine spacious tents, night drives and year-round boating make room for variety without changing camp.”
Known for
Kwara combines predator-focused game viewing with year-round boating and mokoro excursions, plus seasonal visits to the Godikwe heronry.
