Overview

About Shinde Footsteps

Shinde Footsteps keeps the safari small, with four canvas tents and a maximum of six guests beside a lagoon in the northern Okavango Delta. Three tents have twin or double beds, while the family tent has two bedrooms sharing a bathroom. Wooden decks, indoor and outdoor showers and a central swimming pool add comfort between outings. Explore the private Shinde Concession on foot, by mokoro or on day and night drives, then return to the communal lounge and dining tent. A photographic editing room gives keen photographers space to work, and evenings gather around the fire beside the water.

“The six-guest limit gives this camp a genuinely small-scale feel. We like it for walkers, photographers and small groups who want time on foot as well as game drives and mokoro outings.”
