Overview

About Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Kyambura Gorge Lodge sits beside a forested gorge in Uganda, with views across the savanna towards the Rwenzori Mountains. Its former coffee store forms the heart of a small lodge with eight hand-built bandas, divided equally between standard and deluxe rooms. Each has a private balcony and indoor and outdoor showers. A footpath leads from the lodge towards the starting point for chimpanzee trekking, while the surrounding wetlands offer birding. Between outings, there is a swimming pool and spa. The lodge also connects guests with community conservation projects and the work of the Kyambura Lion Monitoring Team.

“A small base for travellers who want chimpanzees, birding and a closer look at conservation, with private balconies, a pool and included massages to balance time outdoors.”
