Overview

About Machaba Camp

Machaba Camp sits beneath riverine trees beside the Khwai River in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, looking towards Moremi Game Reserve. Eight double tents and two family tents combine canvas walls with en-suite bathrooms, patio decks and outdoor showers. Game drives explore the surrounding wildlife area, while guided walks and water-dependent mokoro excursions offer different perspectives. Back at camp, there is a communal pool, a library and a tented lounge and dining area. Children of all ages are welcome, with a private vehicle required for families travelling with children under six.

“A good fit for families wanting a tented safari beside the Khwai River, with room to unwind by the pool between game drives and space to spread out in the two family tents.”
