Overview
About Nkambeni Safari Camp
Nkambeni Safari Camp is a substantial tented base near Numbi Gate on the western side of Kruger National Park. Its 150 canvas-and-timber tents combine en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning and private decks, with family tents offering space for two adults and two children under 12. Breakfast is included, while guided game drives and bush walks cost extra. Between outings, there is a swimming pool, restaurant, bar and spa. The camp grew from an initiative by the Nkambeni community and supports local projects, including school maintenance, water supplies and anti-poaching education.
“A practical choice for families who want a tented Kruger stay with air-conditioning, private decks and a pool, while choosing and paying for their own safari activities.”
