Overview
Porini Amboseli Camp sits in Selenkay Conservancy, on land leased from the local Maasai community north of Amboseli National Park. Its ten tents include a family tent, with private verandas, en-suite bathrooms and safari showers. Days centre on shared game drives, walks with Maasai warriors and village visits, while night drives explore the conservancy after dark. Elephants, lions, giraffes and cheetahs are among the wildlife here. Solar power and Wi-Fi in the communal areas keep the practical comforts simple, and a waterhole viewing platform offers another place to watch the bush.
“A good fit for travellers who want a small tented camp, Maasai-guided walks and night drives alongside Amboseli wildlife viewing, rather than a larger lodge inside the national park.”
Known for
Elephants and big cats share the Selenkay landscape, with game drives also exploring Amboseli National Park.
