Overview

About Trackers Safari Lodge

Trackers Safari Lodge has 11 thatched log chalets in Buhoma, five minutes' drive from Bwindi's park headquarters. Timber interiors and forest-facing balconies give it a distinctive setting for a gorilla-trekking stay. Between outings, guests have a swimming pool, gym, sauna and bar, while meals are served in a restaurant overlooking the forest. Accommodation ranges from single and twin options to triple rooms and Superior chalets with an en-suite steam bath and Jacuzzi. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are included, alongside house wine, local beers and spirits. Gorilla permits, lodge transfers and domestic flights cost extra.

“A good fit for travellers who want a pool and a comfortable log chalet between forest outings, with Bwindi's Buhoma briefing point a short drive away.”
