Overview

About Vumbura Plains

Vumbura Plains sits beside the floodplains of the northern Okavango Delta, in a private concession bordering Moremi Game Reserve. Its 14 accommodation units include two family units, with private plunge pools and outdoor spaces for watching the surrounding landscape. The suites stand on raised wooden decks, with an open lounge and dining area beyond the walkways. All meals, local drinks, laundry, park fees and twice-daily camp activities are included. The mix of grasslands and waterways supports elephants, hippos, lions and African wild dogs.

“A strong choice for families wanting space and varied Delta scenery, with two-bedroom family units, private plunge pools and wildlife across both grasslands and waterways.”
