Overview

About Mbamba

Mbamba has 12 canvas tents in the private NG12 concession in the northern Okavango Delta. Private verandas and over-bed cooling give the tents a comfortable base between outings, while the shared areas include a pool, library and firepit. Game drives explore a landscape used by elephants, buffalo, lions and wild dogs; boat and mokoro excursions add a water-level perspective when channel conditions allow. Two family tents accommodate travellers with children aged six and over. Meals, local drinks, daily activities, laundry and airstrip transfers are included, with arrivals by light aircraft through Kadizora Airstrip.

“A good fit for families with children aged six and over and keen birders who want game drives and water excursions, with a pool and library for time back at camp.”
