Overview
Eagle Island Lodge sits on Xaxaba Island in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, reached by light aircraft. Its 12 tented rooms have private elevated decks and plunge pools, with indoor and outdoor showers and air-conditioning. Safari days combine game drives with walking, birdwatching and water-based excursions when conditions allow. Between outings, settle into the open-air bar, browse the library or book a treatment in the Wellness Pod. Meals, selected drinks, laundry and two daily game viewing activities are included. Children aged six and over are welcome.
“Private plunge pools and spacious tented rooms make this a comfortable choice for couples who want time to unwind between land and water safaris.”
