Overview

About Moremi Crossing

Moremi Crossing is a rustic-luxe tented camp perched on a palm-fringed island on the Boro River, overlooking Chief's Island in the Moremi Game Reserve within Gunn's Private Concession. Guests stay in Meru-style tents on raised wooden decks with outdoor showers and views across the floodplains, gathering around a central crescent-shaped main area with multiple decks for sweeping Okavango Delta vistas. The camp traces its heritage to the historic Gunn's Camp, one of Botswana's first safari outposts, and today blends low-impact living with a wide range of walking, water-based, and game-drive experiences.

“Rustic-luxe island camp with heritage to Botswana's first safari outpost; suits those valuing low-impact living and diverse walking, water, and game-drive experiences.”
