Overview

About Setari Camp

Setari Camp sits on a palm island in a private concession in Botswana's Okavango Delta. Raised wooden walkways link ten tented units with the dining and sitting areas, swimming pool and gym. Private decks face the waterways, while en-suite bathrooms include baths and outdoor showers. This is a water-focused safari: boating, mokoro trips and guided island walks take the place of a vehicle-led itinerary. Birders have migrant and aquatic species to look for, including Pel's fishing owl. A family tent and an accessible tent provide alternatives to the standard double or twin tents.

“A good fit for birders and travellers who want to explore the Delta by boat, mokoro and on foot, with raised walkways, private decks and a pool for time back at camp.”
