Overview
Mowani Mountain Camp sits among granite boulders in Damaraland’s Uibasen-Twyfelfontein Community Conservancy. Its 15 rooms and suites have thatched roofs, air-conditioning and private viewing decks; the Luxury Room and both suites also have heated splash pools. The shared pool, lounge, dining room and sunset viewpoint make space for time at camp between outings. Paid nature drives search for desert-adapted elephants, while excursions visit the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. The standard stay includes breakfast and dinner. Children are welcome, and Wi-Fi is limited.
“A strong choice for travellers who want Damaraland’s boulder landscapes as much as its wildlife, with private viewing decks and a shared pool for quieter afternoons.”
