Overview
Olonana sits beside the Mara River, where hippos gather below the lodge and glass-fronted suites open onto private terraces. Its 14 suites include three family suites with an adjoining twin bedroom, while the separate Geoffrey Kent Suite adds a heated infinity pool and a private safari team. Game drives explore the Maasai Mara, with community visits and bush walks adding different perspectives. Back at the lodge, there is a swimming pool, a riverside gym and a restaurant overlooking the water. Children of all ages are welcome, making this a practical choice for a multigenerational safari.
“River-facing suites keep wildlife close even between game drives, while adjoining family bedrooms and the private Geoffrey Kent Suite give multigenerational groups room to spread out.”
Known for
Riverbank hippos, year-round Big Five viewing and migration herds passing through the Maasai Mara from July to October.
