Overview

About Chief's Camp

Chief's Camp sits on the north of Chief's Island in Moremi Game Reserve, with raised, thatched buildings facing a watering hole and the Okavango floodplains. Ten Bush Pavilions have private decks, plunge pools and outdoor showers, while the Geoffrey Kent Suite offers more space and dedicated staff for families. Twice-daily game viewing anchors the stay, with seasonal mokoro excursions adding a quieter perspective from the water. Between outings, there is a shared pool, spa and gym. Children aged six and over are welcome, with a dedicated retreat for games and nature lessons.

“Private plunge pools and a wildlife-rich island setting make this a strong choice for travellers who want comfort between game drives; the family suite and children’s retreat give families room to settle in.”
