Overview
Sarara Treehouses sits in the forest canopy of Namunyak Community Conservancy beneath northern Kenya's Mathews Mountains. Raised tents and timber walkways look into the trees, with elephants visiting the waterhole below the shared guest area. Six standalone tents and a two-tent family unit accommodate up to 16 guests. Guided drives, walks and Samburu community visits sit alongside time by the infinity pool. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and a solar-heated outdoor shower, while solar power runs around the clock. The camp closes during November and reopens on 1 December.
“A strong choice for birders and travellers who want a forest setting with a close connection to Samburu community life, rather than a safari built solely around game drives.”

Elephants at the waterhole and birdlife around the canopy make wildlife watching part of time spent in camp.
