Overview

About Wilderness Doro Nawas

Wilderness Doro Nawas looks out across the rocky plains of Damaraland from beside the dry Aba-Huab River. Wood, canvas and thatch rooms open onto the desert, with outdoor showers and beds that roll onto the deck for nights under the stars. Nature drives and guided walks explore the habitat of desert-adapted elephants, while excursions take in Twyfelfontein rock art and Damara culture. Back at camp, the pool and shared lounge offer space to unwind. A two-bedroom family unit and an all-ages welcome make this a practical choice for multi-generational travel.

“A strong fit for families who want more than game drives: desert wildlife, Damara culture and rock art fill the days, with roll-out beds for sleeping beneath the stars.”
